By Road from York

• Take the A64 to the A169 through Pickering to the A171.
  
• Turn left onto the A171 until you see a sign for the B1266 sign posted Sandsend, this will take you to the A174.
  
• Turn left on to the A174 to Staithes.
  
• This takes you down a hill, at the bottom take a right turn for Runswick Bay. If you miss this turn off, then the first right turn as you go into Hinderwell will take you there.
  
• Carry on straight through Hinderwell until you see the vicarage and church on your right hand side. If you are going to Port Mulgrave take the road that runs round the vicarage and church on your right.
  
• If you are going to Staithes follow the main road for another mile then take the second turning on your right down into the village.
  
• For Dalehouse and Roxby go past this turn off and take the next turning on your left.
