By Road from Teesside

  • Take the A67 through Eaglescliffe and Yarm, on leaving Yarm go left on to the A1045 and follow the signs to Marton and then to the A174.
  • On the A174 follow the signs for Saltburn, then Brotton and Loftus remain on this road until you arrive at Staithes.
  • Just before you arrive at Staithes you will see a sign displaying Dalehouse this road will also takes you to Roxby.
  • When you get to Staithes if you are going to Hinderwell, Port Mulgrave or Runswick Bay stay on the A174, shortly you see the signs for the other destinations, they are approximately two miles further along this road.

By Road from Middlesbrough

  • Take the road through Ormesby, and up Ormesby Bank and take a left at the pub on to the A174 parkway.
  • From here follow the road to the Greystones roundabout (this has traffic lights that only work at rush hour) go straight over and follow the road signs to Saltburn.
  • Go through Saltburn and follow the signs for Brotton.
  • At Brotton follow the signs for Loftus and on to Staithes.
  • Before you arrive in Staithes you will see Dalehouse and Roxby signposted.
  • When you get to Staithes if you are going to Hinderwell, Port Mulgrave or Runswick Bay stay on the A174 until you see the signs for the other destinations, they will be approximately two miles further on.

By Road from Guisborough

  • Take the A171 moor road until you see the B1366 sign for Liverton Mines.
  • Take this road to Loftus.
  • When you reach the traffic lights turn right and follow the A174 to Staithes.
  • Alternatively on leaving Guisborough follow the signs to Skelton and Brotton to Loftus.
  • From there continue on to Staithes.
  • Before you arrive in Staithes you will see Dalehouse and Roxby signposted.
  • When you get to Staithes if you are going to Hinderwell, Port Mulgrave or Runswick Bay stay on the A174 until you see the signs for the other destinations, they will be approximately two miles further on.
