Bronte Cottage is an 18th Century-stone built former mill
cottage in the village of Hinderwell. It is now a charming
and beautifully renovated two bedroomed self-catering
holiday cottage. The cottage is ideally situated for exploring
the Moors, the Yorkshire Heritage Coast, and the Cleveland
Way.
The ground floor comprises
open-plan sitting room/dining area, with beamed ceiling,
wooden floor, brick and stone fire place with electric
stove, settee and cane chair, table and oak chairs; compact
but well equipped kitchen with quality bespoke wooden
cabinets and a granite work surface, with combination
microwave oven, hob, toaster, kettle, fridge with freezer
compartment and washing machine.
Upstairs there is the main bedroom, with original fireplace,
pine framed double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, bed
side cabinet and additional clothes hanging space in the
airing cupboard; second bedroom with single bed and chest
of drawers; compact WC/shower room with an enclosed shower
cubicle, corner WC, wash basin, heated towel rail and
shaver point.
One small well behaved dog is welcome (by arrangement)
but should never be left on its own in the property or
allowed on the furniture or on the beds. Any pets must
be exercised regularly to ensure they are adequately 'toileted'!
Please note – for the comfort and safety of all guests
we have adopted a strict no smoking policy. Bronte Cottage
does not have its own garden or yard area but in warm
weather, why not visit the beer garden just across the
road at the Badger Hounds, or at the Ship Inn, Port Mulgrave?
